Abraham was a godly man that answered the Lord with “here I am.”

You see, Abraham did not ask the details of God’s request, nor did he express any doubt or uncertainty. He simply replied, “Here I am.”

Those three words show Abraham’s heart. He had shown such a complete surrender to God, and his mind was already made up. He was ready and willing to do what was asked of him.

When a decision is made to completely surrender to God’s will, we become vessels of honor for the Lord. lt is then that we can best be used for His kingdom.

May our reply be, “Here I am.”
